Read Across America Day

March 2, 2013 was Read Across America Day.  On this day, we celebrate reading and the birthday of the late children's author, Dr. Seuss (he would have been 109 if he were alive).  Here at Otranto, we held our Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss party.  Fun was had by all with games, stories, and a visit from Dr. Seuss' most famous character, The Cat in the Hat.

The Cat in the Hat looks at the birthday "cake" made the Otranto Children's Department.
